It should come as no surprise that Rich, like practically all of our guests so far, fell into events by accident. Starting his career early as a professional DJ – which saw him working a season in Greece as well as in the UK’s nightclub scene, Rich accepted an offer to study for a qualification in radio broadcasting and quickly fell in love with radio. But it was through an opportunity to work at the NEC where his journey into the events industry really began.
As Director of Exhibition Vision, which began life as an A/V and furniture hire business but
soon evolved into the full exhibition stand building business it is today, Rich has gained a wealth of experience, citing people management and learning to deal with different personalities as probably the most important skill.
